IRON PROFILE STATUS IN PSORIASIS PATIENTS AND THEIR CORRELATION WITH THE DEGREE OF SEVERITY OF DISEASE

Objectives: (1) The objective of the study was to evaluate and compare levels ferritin, iron, total iron binding capacity (TIBC), hemoglobin (Hb) in cases controls (2) correlate these parameters with severity psoriasis. Methods: Iron-profile including serum TIBC, Hb evaluated 100 subjects, 50 (psoriatic) (normal healthy individuals). A preformed pro forma filled for each patient after taking written consent.
